What is WebRTC Leak?

WebRTC (Web Real-Time Communication) allows direct media streaming between browsers. However, to establish these connections, browsers effectively "leak" your local and public IP addresses to STUN servers, sometimes bypassing VPNs.

How to fix?

  • Disable WebRTC in your browser settings (easy in Firefox).
